Ran into this fitment issue on my LCR when fitting a Ramair induction kit with my Forge TIP.
The mounting surface for the MAF is pushed right up against the TIP when mounted on the airbox mounts. This is without the MAF fitted as there is no space.
TIP was hooked up to my stock airbox with no problem. Sitting the heat shield on top of the airbox and lining up the mounting holes, you can see how much further inboard the mounting for the MAF sits.
Anyone ever run into this problem? Have I been given the wrong size heat shield?
