replacment screen washer nossel mod

I used to have a mk4 golf and this set me thinking...

the front winscreen nossels on these spray a mist evenly over the screen which for me gives much better coverage

however on the leon its just 2 single jets that squirt from each nossel


is it possible to swap the leon front washer jets for the golf mk4 washer jets?


they seem to be possitioned in the same place and look like the same small plastic fitting

done a search and found that but there was no further progress

ive still got my mk5 polo in my back garden (while i wait to transfer my personal plate to the leon)

so i will take a look tonight and see what i can come up with

UPDATE

the golf/polo fan/mist style washer jets DO NOT fit the leon

the vw washers are afixed to the underneath of the bonnet, where as the leon washer jet is afixed to the scuttle pannel

i will look for alternatives and keep you updated

thats a good idea But really you only use washer jets in the winter when it dirty.. it might freeze i will defo do this tho Your a genious!!!!

my girlfriends 2002 Arosa has the fan/mist spray jets. much better, i am actually jealous of them lol.

Ill have a look at the fitment tomorrow and compare to my leon.
