Sat nav frozen

Hi,
I have a 2014 seat Leon mk3 and the sat nav is frozen in the middle of the sea somewhere. I’ve tried another SD card to see if that was the problem but it didn't seem to do anything.
Has anyone any suggestions or experienced the same thing ?
Thanks

Sounds like the GPS antenna has failed. Easily replaced by a universal FAKRA GPS antenna - simply unplugs from the back of the control unit in the glovebox (blue connector), plug the universal one in and mount the antenna under the top of the dashboard. If you want a bit of extra work, then mount the new antenna above the front interior light - they have a magnetic base so mounts itself against the roof panel without any adhesive, then run the cable down the left side A-pillar to the control unit

I used this repair on a previous Octavia which had the old RNS510 with the original GPS antenna in the roof shark fin. The universal FAKRA antenna is a fraction of the price and worked better than the original ever did

Here is a link to the one you can use, designed for VW systems
