seat ibiza mk2 stereo wire colours help!! desperate!

basically i am trying to fit a stereo, these seem to be the wires for power, any idea which one is which?????

id say red = constant live , brown = ground , blue = switched live

rest are speakers . not 100% sure , u got a meter ?

the red is ;fatter' so the above statement is prob right m8

have been trying all combos and only seems to work with red and yellow in the same one?

that be ok , just means the unit can be on with ignition off

its the same on my golf and ibiza.. the yellow and red to be connected to each other, cant remember which on carriers the original 12v.. but they both need to be attached to this supply some way

but that means the stereo doesntswitch off when you remove the key though.

i has issues with the wiring years back (above)

i'll take my head unit out later tomorrow evening and post pics of the wire colours, so if you can wait till then, i'll try and help.
