Standard Head units!

Hi, i took my standard head unit out of my LCR to plan the fit of my JVC unit, but not quite ready to fit it properly cos i want to fit my dvd screen first, but the standard unit wont go back in and lock in place. It appears that the locking springs on the side aren't engaging, is it something im missing, and easily sorted? Or sound broken?

Anyone else had a similar problem?

I found that when you use something to release the radio (poking in the slots) the little clips are super soft and bend in. A quick tweak with a pair of pliars does the trick.

Carps got the idea. Just bend the clips inwards, towards eachother for a tight, snug fight.
