Stereo upgrade

I've been trawling the forums and thought it far easier to state what questions I have:

I have a 2003 Leon Tdi with the standard AURA head unit with no CD player in the glove box. Basically I want to be able to hook up my Ipod more easily to the unit.

1. Can you get wiring or kit to be able to hook it up with the current head unit.
2. How easy are they to remove (the head units) and how and what tools do you need?
3. If I were to upgrade to a new head unit I would like ipod, USB and CD player. Has anyone got suggestions up to around £150.

to use original headunit with an auxiliary input.

Or you can upgrade to headunit with ipod connectivity.

Alpine iDA-X305s was the best H/U I've ever owened and seen since. It is a gerat piece of kit, I'd have another if I didn't now have Double-DIN.

i got a sony one from ebay brand new for bout £100, its got aux on front and has bluetooth, i stream my music from phone to car, can answer calls etc too, got a built in microfone
