Thinking of buying - plz help

I have looked over loads of threads, visited all the websires etc, and I think i wanna buy a Vag-Com cable.

now i dnt wanna go and buy the wrong one. It has to be a USB one.

ive downloaded the shareware version of VagCom. Am i right to think that you can log data with this, create bhp graphs etc? Can you do stuff like log 0-60s etc??


That aside am i best buyin one of the cheapy type ones and usin the shareware version or jus payin the bit extra to get a lead and the software key?

the shareware has limited capability as to which blocks you can log, upto 20 i think.

so i reckon you are best getting the full version to let you log all blocks although i dont think you will be able to calculate bhp

right ok, thanks for your replies. im sure it will be pretty useful anyway, 5 people in the family have VAG group cars, plus a mate.

sure it will be worth it

can some1 tell me if this would be able to log bhp on a ibiza tdi 130? or similar VAG diesel??
