What did you and your MK2 do today?

From a full tank of Shell Regular Diesel with a bit of Redex I got 582.5miles from the stated 610 when I left the station. Worked out to be about 48.2MPG from my calculations on a 1.9TDi engine.

Was mainly mixed driving other than the first 250ish miles which were straight motorway.

Is this decent or can I find a way to improve this?

I saw it last year and in 2009 at the Bournemouth Air Show, in 2009 it was practising it route for a good 20 mins mid week before the show, what a noise. . .

The Vulcan is literally something else! When it flies over with its bomb bay doors open...

Okay okay... I'll shush. I could go on about it all day. I'm a complete sucker for a good military aircraft, and Vulcan is up there at the top! :)

For old school aircraft you just can't beat the Vulcan and the Nimrod MR2 for noise and prowess!:D

Hawks, although they're only trainers, don't half throw you about! Whoooosh!:stars::sick:

And yeah, I'm a rotary guy to be honest, but I love huge aircraft, saw a B52 at RIAT in 2010 and it was unreal!

Oh god, I'm at it again! Somebody stop me!

Was out walking a bit ago and a Lanky flew over me at about 100ft. That was an awesome sight. Took my hat off to it and everything :worship::gay:

What did I do today in my mk2? Drove VERY VERY carefully to work as its now sold. Wouldn't want to get a scratch or ding on it now before the new owner picks it up!

This morning me and my Leon drove the 30 minute drive to work (A roads)... Cruise set on 60mph, we were able to just watch the world go by (the rest of the world overtaking that is), while conserving an average fuel consumption of 56+ MPG (2.0 PD170 FR TDi Leon).

I arrive at my desk calm and relaxed. :)

I took my car to my local stealer for some warranty work, none of which they acknowledged in the slightest, then I convoyed down to Awesome-GTI with very nice yellow Cupra K1 (if you're on here, you know who you are :)). AwesomeAl tried his best to get my needle sweep done. Unfortunately my clocks wont allow the sweep, which was a bugger. Cheers though, Al!
Then I went to a tyre bay 'cause I thought my back wheels needed balancing, but was told they're well balanced, and in fact the vibration I could feel was bumps in my tyres, that aren't sitting right on the rims :\.

Oh, and I've seen more Mk2 FR's and Cupra's today than I could count with 2 sets of hands! Mmm!

Think the majority of Seat dealers are not interested and deserve to go bust to allow space for more helpful ones

I'm not sure mate, but I never had any problems with Renault when my car went in for warranty work 600,000 times lol. Just such a shame that my first impression of SEAT dealers has been a bad one :(

We'll get there in the end, I'm sure!:)
