After struggling to get to work for the past three days (Work in healthcare) it's time to give the Cupra a bit of a break (and hope by neighbour can move their car at some point).

Picked my Leon up this morning from Ashford, 7 months after ordering! Had a 4+ hour drive back to Sheffield. All motorway on the way back but a nice smooth drive. Missed having one of these!! Can’t wait for the weather to clear up so I can confidently take it out on some twistier roads!

Upgraded maps to 0915 after seeing paddy's post ;)

Did you run into the same corrupt 10 files?
Must’ve downloaded it about 15 times before I conceded that the files were corrupt and just copied the old files from my backup to the location where they should be :)

How you finding the fuel economy? Same engine and box as me. Done 280 miles and got 70 mile range left. I've been driving a diesel for the last 16 months mind so used to that I think

Around 38-39 mpg on the way home in normal mode but not driving with economy in mind. Should get a bit better as the engine gets worn in. I'm happy with 40+!

See I've got mine in eco mode, got 37mpg on a 90 mile round trip today sitting at 50 or 70 with the occasional tap on the paddle to drop a gear and overtake.

They only stated they were corrupt when extracting the files.
It works anyway :) that’s the main thing!

Yeah no issues extracting, took a while but won't be helped due to aging laptop.
Not used navigation yet. Had maps showing on infotainment while I ran a few errands post upgrade and worked fine. You had any issues post upgrade?

I’ll give it an extract on a different laptop in case it’s my work laptop being a pain...

No issues yet. The roundabout that was in a river near my work has vanished though, so I guess that’s one improvement :)

I have the 180ps 1.8 petrol with manual box and I get 36mpg in sport mode. And the range (which is pretty accurate) is 350 miles. I've never tried it in other modes.

Cheers,

Gave it a good clean. 3 days of driving and it was disgusting from all the bad weather. Attached an image of one of the wheels also.

Drove out to get hot drink and food then due to fog just sat in the car keeping warm - power cut and all electric house!

Heater in the car is great!

Is this on the dsg?
I can only get into eco mode through the individual setting and all it's does is display when to change gear :)

It's on the manual.

Using the eco button makes the accelerator pedal less responsive.
If you try it on the motorway you'll notice what I mean. It takes a lot longer to accelerate compared with normal/sport.

Because it's less responsive it is a lot less liable to spinning the wheels, and in the snow that's really helpful.
