My first service at Hatfield and overall the experience was good, from start to finish. The customer-facing team are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I got my car to them at 8am and they managed to get the service and lengthy update done by about 3.30pm (having pre-warned me it could run into a second day). Coffee was offered several times!
Leigh, who dealt with me on the day, was excellent. She talked me through everything they'd done (some places just give you the key back and that's it). I was sent a video of the visual inspection carried out on the underside of the car, which I was delighted to receive.
The only downside is that they can be very hard to reach on the phone (impossible sometimes). This needs to be addressed.
However, on a person-to-person level, in the showroom, they are excellent. Over the course of the entire process I discussed things with four members of the service dept and they were all very good indeed.
