Hi all

Just been on ebay and the same guy i bought two keys off last week is on again.
I have set my keys up and they work a treat, mint condition too.
Now for the best bit he has 10 for sale and they are only £12.50 each with £2.50 P&P item number 130129919617

Just thought id post this cause im dead chuffed with mine and for the price you cannot beat it.

I've used a 434MHz key when my original was a 433MHz.

As for the 3 button question, I believe that it will still work on the Leon, just that the middle button (boot release) won't do anything, as the Leon's don't have a solonoid boot release function.

When i bought the keys i never noticed that my original key was a different type
The keys off ebay are 434mhz but my original is 433mhz, don't matter because it works fine no probs hear, gutter about the middle button though would have been nice to have the boot release.

Where did you get the key cut from and how much was it? did you just transfer the transponders across? I'm thinking of buying the same keys for my Leon FR

ive bought 2 off this guy aswell,,,,, the 2 ive had have been in excellent condition. practically new...... my original key is 434mhz so i was ok, wouldnt work on my dads octavia though and ive also tried a 433.92 on my mkiv and that didnt work on mine or my dads.....

Id love to now what parts i would need and where to buy them from to enable a boot release.
Found a receiver in maplins but its been discontinued doh

As for the keys as per other threads timpsons cut the keys and i just took the transponders out of my two original keys

I've just brought one so just need to get it cut did you get the blade from E-bay or from timpsons? is it easy to get open to change the blades?

If you've already taken the Makers badge (VW Skoda Seat) off then it's easy enough, just undo the little screw that is hidden behind said badge...

Hi

Did you buy a prgramming guide from ebay or did you know how to do it beforehand? Any chance of a post on here to help me out when mine comes?
Not sure about the blade though can only seem to find ones for the non flip key on ebay any ideas where to get one from for the flip key?

Thanks guys

The programing sequence is in your user manual and you can either get a fob with a blank blade included off ebay or you can buy the blade seperately.

You don't need to open the case and remove the badge to change the blade. This is only required if you are swaping the immobiliser transponder. The blade can be changed by pushing out the small black pin from the key head.

Thanks for the quick reply forgot they were the same as VW
