hello everyone. my car used to be a 1.4 16v ibiza mk2. the engine was ok but i needed more power. then i deside to change the engine with a better one. i was thinking about the s3 20vT engine but my mechanic told me that i would have problems with the wiring. he told me to find a mk3 ibiza cupra and take everything from there. and this is what i did.. a friend has a mk3 for sale but suddenly (for him) someone crached him.. so i bought the smashed cupra and i started the mods. here are a few pictures from my ibiza during the coverition..























everything now is from a mk3 cupra including the esp the abs thi climatronic and the airbags. all i need now is the rear spoiler from a mk2 cupra and my seat will look great.

unitronic chipped remap
60mm exchaust
simota air filter
forge 007
samco hoses

no.. i did only the samco hoses the forge 007 and the simota. everything else is made in the seat dealer in my tonw in greece.. this coming summer i will put a frond mount intercooler and i will get ready the car for the 2871r turbo....

with the unitronic big turbo file im waiting at arround 370hp.. i think it will be fast.. .

The 3 Mk2 20vt's i know of have all had the engine donated from a yellow Cupra

Not sure on cost,but if you put the engin full wireing loom and dash in it makes it easer!me and my mate are doing mine!so 4 me it will be the cost of the donor car.

i dont know in uk but when i did it in greece i paid 10000 euros nearly.. its about 7000 pounds..

I got my donor car for £1350 and made the money back selling my old bits.

yeah i sold my old parts to make this price. the price includes the sunspension the new rims with the tyres..

I done mine myself, doner car was £1500, i had a 2.0 16v cupra sport as a base car and sold off anything i could, ended up making £2000 back, so £500 profit
