I went on holidays for the weekend, when I arrived home, I noticed that one of my rear tyres was over warn on warn in the inside, so I went to get it tracked, they guy told me that the rear won't aline straight for some reason, so I look it to my friend who just got his new tracking machine, and he worked out that the rear axle is bent :'(, I don't know if I should take it to seats to see if they will cover it under warranty or buy a second hand fit it myself

I would think it should be covered as long as you have not had an accident. then again, knowing some dealers they will try and put it down to you saying it was negligence or some nonsense like that. Worth a try with them however. Let us know the outcome mate.

No I ant, and yeah jc that's what I'm thinking they are going to make any excuse not to do it :(

Well if there is no damage eg scraping on it and your shocks springs are fine then I can't see what they could do? It would be obvious if you'd had new panels.

Get it checked.

That's the thing only last week I look my car there because the guard around the shock was hanging down, (which they just glueed back in place) I will take it and see what they say, I'm going to mark the axle aswell to see if they say they will change it, to see if they do or not

Its priti annoying seeing as I just spend over £300 on a set of new tyres and 1 is already warn down

Is there any chance that the tyre fitters jacked the car up using the rear axle ?

I have stopped the tyre fitters twice near me from lifting the car by the rear axle - they try to save time by using 1 jack and end up bending the axle.

No deff not that. I jacket the car up myself, because I refurbed the wheels, and had it jacked up on a ramp so deff isn't that atall

That's just skin damage has no damage in the skin atall, and it isn't even that side that is bent its the other side, it has nuthing to do with the side with the damage,

And the side with the damage is perfectly alined there is nuthing wrong with it atall
