Had mine fitted last week, needed some new rubber to pass the MOT though.....
Sorry for the confusion. Mine is a 61 plate Ibiza Sportrider 1.6 TDI. So yep 5 X 100

I'm not too sure 15" wheels will clear the front brakes? The back ones are fine, but the front ones are huge! (288mm) I believe.So my question is? Has anybody fitted 15" steel wheels to an Ibiza Sportrider 1.6 TDI with that size disc?

How'd you manage to spec a Cupra R with 312mm brakes?
I expect you have 345mm brakes, in which case some 17s will fit but it depends on the wheel.
Lol good point got a set of 18s at home will throw some winters on them lol
Just picked up a set of A4 16" wheels that are going to have new Winter 205/55/16's but not sure if I should go for Cooper Snow master, Avon Ice Touring or the Goodyear Ultragrip things???

If there's no big price difference, I'd go for the Goodyear Ultragrip 8 - it's been getting very good reviews and the model before it was also well reviewed over the last few years. I found my ContiWinterContact TS830s were fantastic in the worst of last year's weather, so there's another option if they are available to you.
I'm currently umming and arring over whether to buy in a pair of them now as I'm on about 6-6.5mm on the fronts I think... so might need to replace them when it's mid-season (and thus prices/availability go silly). Then again, the missus would probably scream if I added any more to the mountain of black rubber in our garage! Hmm...

They are 16 " . The ones I got are the biggest size available in that tyre 205/55/16V.

but on the positive my car is a lot cheaper to run.
Just ordered a set of Goodyear Ultragrip Performance 2's from Camskill. Have a 3 week wait to get them though.... looking forward to the snow this year for a change!
Have booked in for a pair of Hankook W300's for the front at my local dealer (specialist cars Aberdeen).
Was getting prices between £150 and £200 at local tyre shops and quick-fit type places for cooper to bridgestone
Was getting car booked into get the ABS module repaired and they would do the Hankooks for £130ea fully fitted Inc vat which I think is good enough.
There supposedly ok as summer tyres but not so good as all weather or summer tyres, which is probs fair enough.

Just a word of warning,my wife phoned her insurance to say she planned to fit winter tyres to her car,and was told that her policy would be void if she did as it was classed as a modification
With Lloyds tsb insurance!
This problem should of been cleaned up by now but some insurance company's still live in the dark ages unfortunately
In most parts of europe it's the law to use these tyres in the winter but over here (the land of no common sense) you could run Toyo 888's in snow and that would be ok.
