Sorry, I might be going next friday (31st) but it would be a last minute thing if we do as exchange on house is due that day...

Quick weekender so not bothered about weather, will just make it a tourist (non track!) trip if its thats bad

You should have better weather in April though!

£400 can be done on a quick weekender - if you take your own sandwiches and drink... ;)

No pinocchio's though!

Half of the point of going to Germany is food & drink

And who wants to spend £400 on a weekend & sleep in their car? :)

Ive worked out around £700, that's without laps! My workings out may be a tad wrong tho!

I really don't mind whether or not I go on track if/when I go. I need to try pinocchios tho, that's for sure :).

Who said anything about sleeping in there car? Camp, great if numbers are there but still cheap and effective if your on your own, I've done three trips in four months before this way so I know, one of the trips (october) I was pitched up next to a guy who was on his fifth trip that year

Not being in a convoy also saves fuel <<< that is a fact!

Not everyone goes for german food and beer, I just go to drive mine there and drive on the track, yes the rest is nice but irrelevant to me, I've known people drive there track it a few times and drive back

All I'm saying is you can go there and not have to spend that much and still enjoy yourself, hence why I didn't get bored my first time there, I don't treat it like my only holiday, I don't want people to get put off by cost

Hit the armco then you got cost

Ferry to calais is working out around £84 return, eurotunnel about £110 return, that is around an 08.30 going out and 14.00 return

If you wanna go to dunkirk, its looking about £74 at the moment, again same-ish times

Thats not too bad for April really

I'm going to book the ferry next month! Dover-Dunkirk, dates now have changed to 18th-21st, so if anyone is up for coming, drop me a PM with your number and we can arrange some stuff! I'm going with my one friend and some of his friends.

Should be a great weekend tbh!

lol mate you gotta have a blast on the ring as your there may as well even if you was gonna cruse it round, its like being on the autobahn and only keeping to 70mph:rolleyes:
your lucky mate living in kent so close to dover,it was a long drive for me fron bham, been twice 9hrs roughly to get there
cost wise you can do it for about 400 id say, cruse down there and back about 60/70 you can get there and back for about 200 pound there is a b/b we stayed the guy who owned the place spoken no!!!English at all it was pretty funny to work things out for a room but that as well was about 45 euro each per night this place was about 20 mins from the track I remember.
it has a bathroom and a bed simple is what you need nothing flash whats the point, they sell 102 oct next to the ring as well,i went in may 2012.bro went in his seat Ibiza cupra 70 euro filled up at the ring and got to south west London,145mph on the autobahn also
