1.2 TSI randomly bucks under acceleration

About a second into accelerating hard, our manual 1.2 TSI Ibiza has started to give quite a violent single buck. It's almost like a misfire and feels similar to wheelspinning on a wet drain cover but happens only once.

I noticed what sounded like a boost leak the other day, whooshing sounds when the turbo comes on with reduced power. Bizarely however this seems to have disappeared again now.

VCDS is showing no fault codes oddly enough. I suspect it may be the DV valve but before I start replacing things, has anyone else experienced this problem before or have any thoughts on what it could be?

Thanks in advance :)

I've also had that Buck in my 1.4tsi, I was extremely worried when it first happens but I THINK it could be the ECU confusing the DSG gearbox, don't take my word for it though

It seemed to stop when disengaging the tc and esp. After driving for a while with those off it seems to have stopped doing it with them on now. Can only put it down to rotating the tyres and the car having to learn the new setup  But at least it seems to be running fine now :)

Funnily enough my car does this exact thing and it feels like a misfire but without any noise. Since it started getting colder last year as it was going into winter it developed this issue. It concerns me quite a lot as it didn't do this for the first three years of ownership.

Normally it happens on about 50-80% throttle, within the first 5 minutes of the engine being on. I think it predominately happens in second gear but I know it can happen in any gear.

It rarely bucks once its warmed up. Sometimes it bucks twice, around a second after the first buck.
