Combating spam

To enhance the forum experience and combat spam, we utilise the Veritas AI Spam Management Tool. This tool processes user-generated content (e.g., forum posts) solely for the purpose of spam verification.

During this process, data is temporarily passed to Veritas for analysis and is immediately destroyed once the spam result is returned. Veritas and Audentio do not retain or store any personal information or user-generated content submitted through this process.

We remain committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring this process minimises data retention while effectively managing spam and protecting our genuine users.

Other ways we may use your personal information

In addition to notifying you of site activity, we may occasionally contact members with important updates or announcements via email. You can opt in or out of these emails in your profile settings.

We may also collect non-personally identifiable information about your browser, device, and usage for analytics purposes.

Store Payment and Order Information

When you make a purchase from the SEATCUPRA.NET Store, we collect certain information to process your order. This includes:

  • PayPal: Payments processed by PayPal are subject to the PayPal Privacy Statement. PayPal provides us with confirmation of payment, your name, and shipping address to fulfil your order.
  • Stripe: Card payments are processed by Stripe Payments UK Ltd in accordance with the Stripe Privacy Policy. Stripe provides us with transaction confirmation and basic payer details.

We never store sensitive payment details such as card numbers, expiry dates, or security codes on our systems.

Order Management via WP EasyCart

Our store uses the WP EasyCart plugin to manage products, orders, and payments. WP EasyCart temporarily stores order details and customer contact information within our website’s secure database so we can fulfil your order, process refunds, and provide support.

Data recorded in WP EasyCart is retained for as long as necessary to comply with tax and accounting obligations (normally up to 7 years under UK law), after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Communication and Order Updates

We may use your email address to send order confirmations, dispatch updates, or to request feedback. These are transactional communications and cannot be unsubscribed from, as they relate directly to your order.

Sharing Data

We share only the minimum data necessary to complete your purchase:

  • With payment providers (PayPal and Stripe) to take payment securely
