Whining sound

1.2 66 plate, this morning while waiting for the screen to demist I got a whining sound from the engine bay when the blower fan was set to 3 or 4, any ideas?

And I know it’s not the blower fan as I lifted the bonnet and strangely sounded more like a cooling fan
