Turbo upgrade options for the 1.2tsi EA111?

So I am currently looking into turbo upgrade options for my 2014 seat Ibiza FR SC 1.2tsi EA111 103hp stock. it’s currently stage 2 running around 150bhp but I’m looking for a turbo upgrade.

the turbo i’d like is a a little expensive, but claims it can produce 225bhp from the little 1.2tsi this is a turbo sold by RTMG and MUCHBOOST.

however if I can use a turbo from a 1.4tsi EA111 ( not the twin charge the single charged version) for a much lesser cost, upgrade it slightly with a billet compressor wheel and a new cartridge, this can surely produce around 200-220hp. I would hope ?.

does anybody know if the exhaust manifold from the 1.4tsi fits on the 1.2tsi ? Or can I use my existing manifold and slot the turbine end of the turbo into the housing and connect like normal with a v clamp .
If anyone has any info if this is viable ?

hi, I wasn’t able to find one for the engine my car has, so I had just gutted the cat out instead, but I think there are some for the 1.4tsi that may fit as the flange looks similar . I think you would just need to cut your existing exhaust before the flex pipe and have a flange welded in to be able to bolt it on. They also have some available with a 200cell sports cat.
