got a mk1 225 curpa r. Both fans inop at low speed when at temp also when ac is turned on. One fan comes on at 110 degrees at high speed and turns off at 105 other one doesn’t turn on completely. Already checked the fuses there fine. Thermostat appears to be ok. Temp sensors ok. Only thing I can think of now a getting a new fan control module or thermal switch.

The resistor in the fan packs go. Used to be a fortune back in the day so people wired in new resistors. Now you're better just sticking a new fan pack in

I've been there with the non working fans... changed the rad temp switch, followed by an alternate fan controller and eventually discovered the 12v feed to the rad switch had been cut! Repaired cable and all good.
So if the fans work on low speed when aircon on it may not be the resistor pack after all.

I also disscovered if you buy a replacement fan controller, DO match the part numbers to what was there originally, as the replacment I bought ended in a different letter and would not work.

Good luck.
