NCAP I'd say. They dont want people messing about with it unless within the bounds of the design parameters and they decided you are locked out of them. It would be another defeat tool to play an NCAP game.
Pulling dummies across roads to test how the car breaks then to have dealers and users fiddling with the controls to defeat NCAP safety features isnt one thay want. Why I reckon they have closed up adjustment via

Duff practices in a dealership and they arent going to get down to the bottom of issues these days. There is ofcourse no accounting for wet foliage on the side of roads or banked roads. Then you just drive more slowly. Living in the land of 20mph if you keep to the limit all is good
