Hello all

I have recently bought a new used Seat Alhambra as a family car. It's also my first automatic car, which is taking some getting used to. Accidental left-foot breaking is certainly a learning opportunity. Anyway, I generally love the car. So far so good. I'm a bit miffed that it will cost me £250 to get the full-link, but that's something that I can generally live without. First on my list is trying to make the car child-proof. I am thinking about boot bumber protectors and door sill protectors. Our last car (VW Touran) was damn-near wrecked in these areas. The leather seats + kids is a slight worry, but it is what it is, I guess.

I decided to sign up to this forum as I've never owned a Seat before (you could argue the Touran kind of is, maybe), and as it is the largest car purchase I've made, I'm keen to look after the car and enjoy it as much as I can. So I'm after all the hints, tips, advise and ideas I can get! Thank you.

Welcome to the forum.

The Alhambra is the sister vehicle to VW's Sharan, with the former being named after the Moorish Palace in Spain and the latter taking it's name from a single mother of 5 who lived in Wythenshawe 🤣
