Ex-Leon Mk3 owner here.
As it was a manual-gearbox one, I was a little more enthusiastic driver (and a very happy one at that) with it, having all the control.
For the last one and a half year, I've been driving a Cupra Ateca, bought brand-new. I had the opportunity to buy a Formentor or a Terramar but Ateca was a deliberate choice because I'm attracted to its old school looks, familiar interior design and physical switchgear more than newer generation models. My driving style has been a more relaxed one with it, I almost totally left the control to DSG.
As for the purchasing plans, my intention is to live with Ateca for 10 years, or maybe more. I believe I would have a harder time then, to find a brand new car that suit my old school preferences.
