On my Terramar, the wipers hit the windscreen edge, usually on the full speed option but not always and when its raining heavily. Has anyone else had the same?

I noticed this was discussed on reddit with it being quite common amongst terramar owners.

Hi Jag

Yes, I had a Terramar loan car for a week and on a couple of occasions the driver's side wiper hit the A Pillar - very top.

It does it (intermittently) on this MK4, didn't do it on my last Mk4. This may be something to do with the 'self park drop' feature when the wiper isn't used for a couple of mins? This feature didn't happen on the last one.

Let me know what they say, mine is doing also, just as described above.

Got the car back and I was so pleased just to get it back fixed I forgot to ask about the wipers lol, however it was raining the other day and I noticed they appear to stop an inch or so before the upright now so probably fixed. Defo wernt hitting it anyway.

Thanks, mine’s in the shop now. After having it for a little over a month I started getting “front assist unavailable. sensor impaired” warnings. Even when the sensor was clean and it was warm dry weather. I took it in, they said it needed a full system computer update and they needed it for several days. I’ll ask them about the wipers if I remember.
