so have been at the repairs again this week:
The passenger side dorr mirror started screwing up so have been replaced:
can you tell which the genuine VW is??
then painted the primed mirror backs that came with the new mirrors:
now the car is FR'd again:
i dropped the Drivers side whilst the lacquer was drying which has left a mark but thankfully its not noticeable unless you look or see it in direct sunlight, but since they are temporary I don't mind and it can always be redone.

few lil updates, nothing to much tho:
been down to AKS to have the brake fluid changed, first time in, well ever:
picked up the 2 sets of caps for Aimez and Pyro, now just gotta remember to come to action and not let the scouse in me steal em
fitted mine:
went up to Solihull and met with a fellow SCN member Toby Davis and picked up a boot tray:
then when talking to Toby he showed me the fix that he had done to his his door seals to minimize the wind noise, and in his car it was alot better than mine, so i gave it a bash:
bit of rubber inside the upper seal and inside the window seal:
on first 3 mile test was better, will find out tomorrow how much better on the m1 to work:
changed the air filter. Had a spare paper one in the garage so put that in, The pipercross one was a state, im actually embarrased:
this was white when it was fitted :?
the car had also been treat to a deep clean, took 4 hours but was worth it in the end:
now just waiting on a response back from the body shop for the mirror covers as I wanted a more professional finish on them

new purchase brushed metal cupra handles to replace the chrome finish ones:

had them and took them off, i have something else planned for the mirrors once my replacement primed caps arrive
yep, i thought i text ya? they sorted all the development cars that they needed and APR will have their 1.9tdi maps up very shortly
whats niki charging (ball park figure)?
