so ive had a mk2 and teh cupra bug has bitten, so knowing that the forum is here i have been looking for a few months, ive found a decent cupra, it is from forum member Roly.
being local to me was a bonus! and his reputation with mk2/3s and 1.8ts is legendary. so i had no worrys buying it, being that it was his comuter car.
car details:
mk3 Ibiza Cupra.
68k miles (cambelt at 62k)
Blue flame cat back with sports cat
Forge tip
Forge 007p
Front upper Seat Strut brace
Custom Jabba stage 1 map
some mental intake gasket costs about £90 no idea what its called.
serviced 9th april (including turbo oil pipe)
mot 10th april
first impressions coming from a mk 2: BOOST is fun!! , the lack of "real" headunit is annoying, but the most overwhelming thing is how tight it is! its a testament to how good ben/roly is! if there where any way i could thank him anymore then i would!! the car s a Y reg and it feels as tight as a drum!!
mods to come:
Hids(bulbs are h7??)
strut braces rear upper and front lower,
ARBs.
Oz superturrismos
Power delivery is bang on and the engine is sweet as a nut! so getting it to handle better then it does is the challange!
so call it Project Grip.
wil do pics when i get home.
