leon cupra track car [more power coming]

well i thought i would start a build thread for my leon cupra track car. here are some pics of the car as it stands today.

plans are to start with new wheels and tyres, new brakes and coilovers.and to fully strip it out. :cheeky:

It's one of the first LC's - certainly an ex SEAT UK car... I was going to say it was one of the 'track' cars but they were all Y plates.

Probably ex press.

Nice one, there's money in selling the leather interior for sure.
There very heavy too so would start off by stripping it out.
Mines a 210BHP LCR.
It's still on the standard map and with it being stripped out its a match for stage 2 LCR's

Looking forward to seeing the progess on it.

new wheels and tyres on

i have orderd kw v3 coilovers they should be here next week .
also some 356mm 8 pot ksport brakes but they will take 10-12 weeks to arrive

Get the heat gun and thinners out and get rid of the sound deadening.

Get the badges off the rear too, more weight

You going for plastic windows?
I see your inner door skins are gone already.
Have you removed the window carriers and screwed the glass inplace?

Door carriers are stll in waiting to get some plastic windows

400 GBP, this included a slider on the drivers window.
i'm not sold on the slider yet, it does make it cooler in there but make a racket when doing motorway speeds when its windy
