As things get moving with coops (as LairyT and I call her) thought id get some pics up.

Hopefully some of the pics will help people with some of the more simple but frustrating mods!!

Mods so far:

Sachs performance clutch
Jabbasport Stage 1 remap
Green panel filter
Fabia rear wiper (previously done Touran - Fabia is far better)
Black gloss mirror caps
6000K HIDs
LED sidelights
Silver indicator bulbs - front and rear
Interior LED bulb conversion (blue)
stubby aerial
Partial debadge
Front aero wiper blades

The remap really transformed the car. Anyone who hasnt done it should consider it it seriously. Only real issue is level of torque will probably at some point cause a standard clutch to slip. Mine was slipping before the map so i got it uprated and the map put on. Only a generic map but pushing around 195bhp and 310lbs :)

I scratched the edge of one of my platinum mirror covers so found a set of OE covers in gloss black on ebay, such a simple thing to change that has altered the look of the car for the better

Just to be in the minority i went for a Touran rear wiper a year or so ago. The standard scaffold wiper was shocking and the Touran one was in fairness a big improvement. It very quickly started juddering though and i put up with it until a week or so ago when i got a 'conversion kit' from a guy on ebay for £14! Bargain. Wish id just put the Fabia arm on before as its such an improvement. No smear, juddering, noise, just a perfect wipe!!

Plan to lower, change wheels and upgrade brakes next & get some mk4 golf aero wiper arms. Exhaust will also be changed at some point as one of the hangers on the rear box is rusting. Will prbably decat at the same time or go whole hog with downpipe ...

HID's were a slight headache in trying to work out placement. I didnt want them bolted on somewhere open and in the way of anything so wanted to hide where possible.

Passenger side presented no problem:

Screws are normally in but i was fitting sidelights - you get the idea!

Drivers side is presently secured under the screenwash reservoir - I plan to move this at some time, once i work out where and how!!

once the HID's were in the sidelights looked like hopeless candles so had to be changed. £3.75 got me: WHITE 501/194/168 W5W WEDGE BASE sidelight 4 LED BULBS from ebay.

Fitting them was a bit tricky as the bulbs are held in the headlight unit by 2 clips which are flush fit :( I used a narrow chisel to depress one side and release a fraction before doing the same to the opposite side, then sliding the bulb out. - Fiddly but once i'd done 1 the other side was easy.

Cheers guys :)
Have just had to replace camshaft and associated parts as a lobe had worn down due to a broken bucket. Not nice.
new cam, and buckets etc later and things are back to being good again!
As for lowering, not sure on which springs to get that will actually lower it. Should replace the shocks too. And bushes etc!
