Hi all
I would just like the know what the diameter is of the standard exhaust on the Cupra. Ive just got hold of a 3" Blueflame downpipe with a 100 cell sports cat and want to fit it and join it to the rest of the standard cat back system so will need to buy a clamp, but i need to know what the size of the standard exhaust pipework is please :)

Cheers

Try to install also the 3" catback.. otherwise you won't use the full capacity of the 3" Dp

The Cupra exhaust is 2.25" but is perfectly suitable for stage 2 / 2+ mated to a performance downpipe :)

Well 2.5" or 2.25"? Me and K1Shane want to know :) lol. My car is going in on Friday to get the downpipe fitted to the original cat back, but I'm going to get the middle box cut out so just running the sports cat and back box, should sound good :)

There has been false information about the exhaust being 2.5" on many forums for years.

Hope this helps ;)
