220 or 228mm Flywheel?

How do you find out which size flywheel your car has? And am i right in saying that if the 228mm flyhweel is fitted as standard a VR6 clutch can be fitted without replacing the flywheel to the G60 jobbie? Cheers. edit, btw mines a Y 2001 AYP
