batery

hi all i went to santa pod ydai and it was a great day but on the way home i stoped and my battery had died now my epc light wont go away .... Need a bit of help also it reset everything ... Like my milage didnt add any miles for the rest of the night .... If someone culd help pleaseeee......

earlier in the week i got back to the carpark afterwork to find my batery dead... figured maybe my batery was on its way out and the cold finished it off but following morning no issues or that evening or this morning.... get back to car tonight.... dead again any common fault with this...
