Please someone help I have just bought a 1.6 cordoba which failed the test on the emmissions. It does smoke a bit (not huge clouds but noticeable) and smells like burning oil I think. I have done a compression test with engine both hot and cold and all 4 cylinders are showing 195psi in both...

title is pretty much on it really... car is getting remapped within the next 2 weeks, just need to book it in, but its also having its first MOT done on the 11th december.. being that its a derv will the revo thing make any difference to the emmisions as i really dont want to have it fail on...
