malfunction

After putting new forge TIP in on friday have been getting a fault code thrown up - N249 mechanical malfunction,thing is I've done the bypass so any ideas what it could be:shrug:

Help.:confused: leon cupra20v 1.8t (180) my engine light has come on and in the book it says its something to do with emmissions.. (B*ll*cks):censored:. the code it came out with 17704 P1296 malfunction with cooling system. Fair enough it says this but where do i start looking for my fault...

Ar$e! On my way home from work at traffic lights, as I put my foot on the clutch pedal, it decided it didn't want to come up again. Much pushing of car..... On closer inspection, it isn't the cable that's gone. It seems that something is detached release-wise... I'm starting to search...

Its come on twice now... all bulbs are fine as far as im aware... IT came on last week, i spent 10 mins checking, turned engine off then on and light went out.. the same happened tonight. strage as everything works as it should? any suggestions?

Getting the above error in my A4 1.8T Sport. Does it mean the lamda is goosed? Im also getting no boost from the turbo but nothing other to suggest a problem. i did have N75 errors so replaced the valve and wiring to the valve which seemed to fix the n75 error but still no boost. Ive changed...

Aparantly according to my VAG-COM my N249 has a mechanical malfunction!! Can anyone shed anylight on what to do with this? I did have a N249 bypass but i put it back to normal just now to see if that was the problem but aparantly not. So: 1) where is the N249 2) what could have caused...

just had this error code cleared off my car by a m8 but i dont undastand what the probel can be?coolent temprature and level is ok not overheating or anything.anybody had this code before and what was the outcome problem wise.if any? cheers guys.and gals. luke
