restriction

Greetings, until how much HP does the stock air intake on the Cupra MK2 become restrictive? Can it handle 300hp@ crank without having to go for some aftermarket ones?

I cracked open my air box today to look and see if there were any simple things I could do to de-restrict it. I came across a trellis type thingy stuck under the air filter, looks to me to be a bit restrictive so I removed it. Any ideas if this will cause a problem?

I was sorting out the seals on my 04 Leon Cupra Tdi last night & when i removed the one from the Turbo, I noticed the the aperture in the hose eye is not the full width of the hose itself, It is probably only 1 Inch in Diameter when the hose in nearer 2 Inches. This has surely got to be a flow...

Hi does any have issue with they car when it 5rpm in 3rd, that the rev wont budge any more? Any suggestions, im out of ideas! :cry: Thanks all in advance
