seat leon mk3 fr door

Hi guys, the FR door badge on the driver side no longer lights up, from my understanding these are fluorescent and should therefore not fail as there is no LED there or anything, or am I wrong? Please help as I don’t want to be calling up the local seat garage to get this replaced under warranty
