You may of noticed we popped off the line last night. :) Marts pressed ahead with the new server transition. We have moved SCN over to our new faster box we bought earlier this year, some may experience DNS propagation issues for the next 24 hours or so, but I think most people will be back...

I'm getting a blank page with "500 - Internal Server Error" written on it every second page I click on. Reloading a few times will make it load properly... Just thought I'd share :happy:

Is it me or is the forum time out by almost 5 ish mins? Can it be fixed? - And ideally the server pointed at a ntp server to keep correct in future?

Sure, i realise its early days on the new server ... but.. :D Can we have a bigger PM allowance, say 50 sent 50 received. Slightly longer sig allowance too would be nice ;) How about being able to upload our own avatars to the forums rather than finding remote hosting... (not a concern for...

You realise since Top gear finished - there's nothing on TV.. And then you turned off the forums......... Jasus - i had to talk to the future Mrs. Tam ...... and that's not a nice experience on a Sunday night, coz it generally involves moaning ... and weddings... (shudder!) Good...

We are scheduling a reboot of the server for 11pm ish tonight, to resolve some technical issues. Just to let you night owls know when the forum suddenly dissapears tonight. It will be an instant reboot, so the forum etc, should reappear after a few minutes....hopefully :whistle:

Hi, Just a thought / suggestion / request. Now you have this nice new shiney sever, whats the chances of the PM limit being reviewed. PM's dont take up much disk space, and with the massive extra space you now have there is no reason why the limit cannot be 500 - 1000. I've used...
