If i change the bumpers on my 2.0TDI sport for FR bumpers are the driving lamps etc all interchangeable?

Looking to swop my Cupra ecu for an "R" one, A do you think its worth it and B is it something I could do myself? I know its been done to death but couldnt find anything specific on the search

So the story is, I bought this 1995 model Ibiza 2 door 1.4 for $200 with a mangled gearbox. All the wreckers in Oz want $2000 for a new gearbox and It`ll still be a 1.4! I have an 8v GTI Engine from a Golf MK2 and a close ratio 5 speed. I was gonna put in a 16v and convert the fuel system...
