wheel trim

Hello, Apologies if this has been covered before, I can only find info on the pre-facelift model. Does anyone know if the trim around the wheel area is painted black, or if it's a piano black plastic piece? I've got a scratch, that I'm hoping will polish out. I've looked online at...
