Hi everyone
I've got a 2005 FR and both rear door rubbers need replacing. They are stopping both front doors from shutting properly at the moment unless they are tucked in. But they keep popping out.
I've had a look online and made a few enquiries in car part shops but I can't source these yet. Car part shops say to go direct to SEAT dealer....wondering if they can be found elsewhere though? Any ideas anyone?
Regarding the front passenger door letting in water. Seems to happen when it's been sitting in lots of rainy weather, go around a corner and it trickles out onto the carpet towards the front of the door. I have taken it to SEAT dealer and paid over £100, was told it was fixed. Unfortunately (or fortunately) it didn't rain properly for some weeks after the work is done and the first time it did, same problem.
The SEAT dealer DID replace a seal in the door which was perished, they obviously thought that was the problem so I don't think I'll have any luck taking it back expecting them to look at it again without paying. I don't mind paying of course but I wonder if anyone can give me a clue as to what to tell them specifically to look for, if you've experienced the same thing.
Thanks in advance,
Lou.
