08 FR under seat iPod dock

Hi all,

Regarding the under driver seat iPod dock, does anyone know if using an extension cable will work with the iPhone and if it does will it re-direct all sound output to the car speakers (for example TomTom)?

I don't want to spend money on cables for it to not work!

Any help would be appreciated

As in the extension jack and usb extension too so you can connect devices but have them sat in your centre console rather than under the seat? If so i can't see why it wouldn't work...

Yeah, I have the ipod connector under the seat, no USB that I can recall seeing but will check.

I wish I just had an AUX port in the centre console like my other half's Ibiza!
