1.2 TSi 2011 - turbo heatshield removal?

Hello, I was thrown some turbo actuator codes (P334B00A,P334B00,P334C00) and loss of power on and off, seems a common enough issue, so just going to replace the actuator or have an inspection of it as a start, some handy tips on this site for that. Apparently the rod length is different - either way I think I need to get it out for measuring or inspection. The one thing, the turbo heat shield is being a total bitch to remove, what I assumed is size 30 torx isnt working supposing could be damaged now after all the messing about. I dont see any way to get at the lower ones beyond possible front lock service position or even removal - is this normal for this job or am I missing something? I'm learning mechanics as I go... Any experience with this really helpful!

Sorry for bothering to post a less than useful answer, but it will always be a bit nasty removing small fixings that have been subjected to high temperatures - and accelerated corrosion will change the fixings heads tool inset!

Anyway, there is a seller of manuals called easymanuals.co.uk and they sell on USB stick, DVD or just download, a copy of the same workshop manual that dealerships use, which is the same as Erwin lets you download. Now Erwin is VW Group's technical source of all VW Group workshop manuals for non VW Group workshops, it will be cheaper reg'ng with them and downloading everything you need - if you are quick to work out how their presentation of stuff works, I looked at that once and stupidly tried to print off pages - and ran out of time - you get charged per hour for access to this.

So, some years later with that failure still in my head, I took a punt and bought the easymanual workshop manual for my 2011 Audi S4 in DVD form - for some reason, and it is good, so I went back and ordered in the same for my wife's 2015 Polo 1.2TSI 110PS and again it is good.

I don't think that easymanuals ever revisit the source of that info - VW Group will update their workshop manuals regularly and this will be reflected in Erwins offering, but not I'd think in easymanual's offerings, but as the workshop manual etc for your engine will now be stable - why worry.

Edit:- has the Haynes repair book not been issued for Ibiza and now includes this engine version? I'm sure that I read that somewhere, maybe check up on Haynes website - as an option though not as good as the easymanual real thing.
