1.4 8v - cambelt or cam chain??

as per the title has the 1.4 8v engine got a cam chain or cambelt? I know the 16v has a belt, but I am sure I read somewhere that the 8v has a chain that doesnt need any maintenance or changing.

Hope someone can help me out!

so is it a different engine to the skoda fabia 1.4 8v that has a chain?

Last time I looked it wasn't a skoda fabia.......

And the one that sat on the driveway for 18months had a big rubber thing that span round under the cam cover.

no belt, needs changing at 60k, mine is due soon

ive been quoted £356 for the 60k and belt change.
