Hi to all ! I'am from Bulgaria. Speak English too less, please excuse me. I have problem with my Cupra, code AYP.(17832 Secondary air injection Air system,bank1-leak detected ). Not constant + to relay. Fuse, Secondary air injection , valve, hose, relay is whole. When short + relay, secondary air injection working but when engine off . Engine on, secondary air injection not working. Please for advice.

i know this wont help but i have the same or similar problem.

if anyone here could help in FIXING this would be much appriciated, i know it makes no difference to the car, but as mine is for sale, no one is going to buy a car with an engine light on and im to moral to sell a dodgy car. i dont just want to keep re setting it.

Try the usual things for this (cheapest first):

** water temp sensor (fitted to the engine) £15/€25

** MAF, very common, £80/€150

If you clear or re-set the fault how long does it take to come back on ??? (time & miles)

I replace temp sensor and the same as before. Drive 4-5 day and lamp light.
