Having never gotten to the bottom of my 12v battery issues, I was wondering if there is anyway of monitoring the state of charge in the 12v battery? Maybe by using an OBD dongle for example. Want to try and work out when the 12v battery gets charged other than when the engine running. I have reached out to cupra via the website, but heard nothing from them.

Not too sure what you mean by battery gets charged other than when the engine is running, but the battery will only get charged when the engine is running, although nowadays they charge at various rates, ie the alternator will shut off until the voltage drops to a certain level.
so can you explain more of what you mean ?

In my old Ioniq PHEV, the car would 'top up' the 12v when needed from the 48v battery. The Leon doesn't seem to do this, meaning if I drive in 'ev' mode only, how does the 12v get topped up?

My commute is only 20 mile total, so I could go all week without using the ICE in the summer.
