Well, got my Ibiza back from the seat dealership today and the big scuff mark on the side is gone now:)

what next? its totallty stanbdard..

just a question, about the stereo currently in there. i've noticed that if i turn the volume up fastish it just goes to 0 instead of going up, however if i turn it slowly it will rise up, is this a built in feature to stop you turning it up too fast or is my head unit broken? has anyone else encounterd this problem?

Also whats the |)(| button do as far as i can tell it doesnt do anything.. looks like the Dolby logo and says AS on the button..

hi there good to hear your car is back ok

as far as i know, i dont think you can do much to the 1.4 engine wise ( i might be wrong though :) )

although an induction kit would work like dynatwist

mayby get coloured hoses for the engine bay ??

depends where you want to start on the car realy ??

engine, stereo, styleing, wheels, ???? where do you want to start ?

wheels are probably a good place to start since i got an advisory notice on the m.o.t and one of the alloys has a few chips ;)I dont want to make any big differences to the wheels so i's like to know what size are the standard ones that are on it and what could i change them to without effecting the handling of the car.

erm after whwwls probably sound is lext on the list, like you sai nothing much can do wiht a 1.4 engine i've already searched that out on the forums.

Volume contriol drives me mad too.. it seems to be o.k. if you do it slowly and get to the next 10 e.g. 11 or 20 BUT mine often reverts backwards. Have thought about pulling the knob off and putting card behind it to increase the friction so that i can change the volume easily without these problems... prob find the Ibiza is too clever for that to work..

Most folks go for 15mm spacers on the rear wheels - from Badger - try a search for that. Might be good to get new alloys for safety reasons ;-) and get decent tyres on them. I love Toyo T1r tyres. Other don't. Do a search for tyres and spacers and see what ideas other folks have.
