Hi everyone,

I wonder if anybody has any ideas about this fault I've got on my Leon.
I have numerous faults at the moment:

-Cold start misfires but then clears after 3 seconds of starting no EML light
-It has occasional revved itself at idle up to 2500 rpm back down continuously only happened hand full of times
-misfire at 6000 rpm cylinder 2 logged in ecu EML flashing
-rough idle same as when you pull oil dipstick while running
- it is remapped but has been for two years never had any problem until now, there starting to blame remap

Been in garage twice all they have done is swap coil pack changed plugs and cleaned throttle body out, at present they changing fuel filter and putting strong fuel cleaner in, could it be injector? Pcv valve? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Sean

Any garage who has any clue about these engines wouldn't be pissin about with fuel additives.

Like you've mentioned sounds like pcv valve to me and or injector, providing you've checked/changed the coils and plugs.

P.s take it to a vag specialist. And you've posted it in the wrong section.

These cars have so many sensors you really need a garage (VAG Specialist) that have the necessary computers to read the codes, otherwise you can throw as much money at it as you like.
