Hi everyone,

Apologies if this has already been answered, but I picked up my new Ibiza a few days ago and can't seem to get the AUX working. When I plug my phone in using a 3.5mm cable and press the 'MEDIA' button I get a 'NO MEDIA' message - this still comes up if I double tap the button etc. There doesn't seem to be any AUX option anywhere on the stereo whatsoever...

My stereo has both the USB and AUX ports in the centre console underneath the heating controls and comes with the Bluetooth phone call function, so isn't one of the stereos that has the AUX in port next to the hazard lights.

I tried using the USB port to play music from my phone, this doesn't work either, but I've read online that you need a special Y cable for this. Does anyone know where I can buy one that will work with an iPhone 6 (lightning connector). Any help would be appreciated massively!

Thanks mate, I'll try and get in touch with him.

I have been looking at a Dension lightning adapter (I can't post a link but it's pretty easy to find on Google). Can't find any reviews on it though so not sure if it's any good.

Yep, took it to SEAT and one of the pins on one of the connectors going into the radio was bent out of place.

just wanted to share, usually the aux stops working at one side of the car... (right or left)
it's this bad design, as the board is not glued to the connector, is secured by the pins that also make contact so any movement can break them.
