HI all, my apologies asking for help with my first post.
I have a 2014 Altea XL with a CAYZ engine (service book states CAYC, V5 and label on timing belt cover state CAYZ) and I'm a little confused about the need to bleed the system after changing the filter.
Everywhere I look on line suggest that I need VDCS to bleed the system after the change, however all examples of guides I can find are based on cars with the aux pump between the filter and engine driven pump as here -
My car doesn't have this, the set up is more akin to the same model year Leon (mk3) as in it doesn't seem to have the aux pump between the filter and the engine driven pump, photo of my car :
Can anyone tell me if its ok to change the filer, top up the canister with fuel and then prime the system with a few key cycles?
Any help would be appreciated.
