What is it?

The new 2025 Facelifted CUPRA Leon VZ3 with 300HP, with styling and kit upgrades. It has also become more expensive than the previous version and has even increased in price a few months after its launch. Is that justified?

Find out what we think in our detailed video review of this Taiga Grey VZ3.

Verdict
CUPRA have given the Leon so many upgrades they don’t want us to call it a mid-life facelift, they want us to call it the all New Leon. We think that’s a bit of a stretch to call it that. However with improved looks, more kit, tweaks to the engine, amazing seats and huge brakes, what’s not to love.

I took delivery of my VZ3 300 last weekend. It was registered on 26 February this year and was a CUPRA "management" car (chip run and thrash about for the lads) and listed at around £50k, with the addition of the pan roof and Graphine Grey paint.

Four and a bit months later I buy it for about £16,000 less at £33,750 with 3000 miles on it. The inside is in unbelievably unmarked condition - no scuffs, no marks - nothing. The OEM mats looked literally new as well. The exterior is unmarked.

So, that's £10,000 of VAT accounted for and some natural depreciation. £21,000 for my part exchange so I only had to shell out around £13,000 to secure it.

I think that's a bargain.
