2nd Sample Run (Charity)

Hi guys,

Firstly I would like to appologise for the lack of time we have been spending on SEATCUPRA.NET lately.

Being short staffed on the detailing side of business and with the xmas rush the on-line shop is keeping us all on our toes lately.

So, on with what you have all been waiting for.

The second sample run.

As I'm sure some of you are aware this run will be taken from our cleanse category on our site. This means we have very little to offer as many of these products can not be split and others are simply lubs for claying stages.

The good news is that the two products that it does leave us with are both superb products and I really have no idea how this vote will go.

The two products in question then:-


Autosmart Tardis - £2.63

Meguiars Super Degreaser - £2.58

As we stated before this run is going to generate cash for a charity. We are going to keep providing samples untill we reach £500 then we will have a poll on what charity you guys would like to donate to. It will also be made clear that the money generated was due to the individuals of SEATCUPRA.NET for supporting the sample runs.

Price:-

This sample will be supplied in 100ml bottles. If you require more product you will need to purchase 2 or more samples. The price for the bottles works out at 0.79p per bottle. We are estimating that the weight will be 150gm and with 1st class postage the cost will be £1.45 UK only.

Autosmart Tardis is supplied in 5ltr tins and will produce 50 samples. Once divided up this works out at 0.39p per 100ml sample.

Meguiars Super Degreaser is supplied in 3.78ltr bottles and will produce 37 samples. Once divided up this works out at 0.34p per 100ml sample.

Before we go on with the poll I would ask you to only apply/vote if you can meet the following:-

Stuart is far from great. Still in loads of pain he said. Just when he moves his shoulder into certain positions.

He won't be back with us untill March and even then he will be on light duties for a bit untill he can rebuild some strength back to hold it all in place.

He's on a bit of a downer also as he is getting bored sitting around the house. He can't drive his car or anything that involves using his right shoulder really.

Poor guy.

We personaly only use Autosmart Tardis for one thing.

Removing tar. This can be sprayed to the lower sills then wiped away once you see the tar starting to break down or/and can be used to spray on the inside rims of alloys in the same way to remove tar.

Meguiars super degreaser can be used for degreasing engine bays. Spray on, agitate with a brush, then simply spray off with a medium pressure making sure you cover any intakes or electrical connections. It's also great for cleaning inside wheel arches. Spray on, agitate, let dwell for a few mins then PW off.

They are both great products and ones we would struggle without.

I know it's really starting to look bad. I'm devoted to getting it all up-to-date over the xmas period if time will allow us.

I have also got a dead stock sitting that needs to be included on the site.

New DA Polishers, several new products and I'm wanting to update every photo also so it might take a bit of time but I'm sure will be worth it.

Do me a favour please and pester me about this so it get's done quicker.

but I've gone for the tardis - like to try this on my wheels..

Ive voted for the Tardis but I am a little unsure on how to use as I find i manage to get the tar-spots off with clay. Is this product easier to use than clay and is it harsher on the paint (im assuming its going to stip any wax protection?). Cheers.

This product shouldn't be viewed as an alternative to clay in such ways but is a great product to use as an alternative to clay.

Confused???

Let me explain.

Autosmart Tardis is a professional strength tar and glue remover. It will break down tar spots quickly and safely. As a result it reduces the need of intensive claying. Claying shouldn't need to be such hard graft but more a nice rewarding job. I bet you have found yourself rubbing away at a bit of tar with moderate pressure with several hits before you have been happy enough with the outcome. Well clay even with ample lubricant can cause more damage than good when not used properly. Don't let this put you off clay tho cause if used properly (i.e. not so intensive) then a clay is still unbeatable in it's class.

All I'm trying to say is that tardis will eliminate the need for moderate claying.

Autosmart Tardis will strip any sealant so please keep this in mind. As will Meguiars Super Degreasr if allowed near protected surfaces.

On the other hand tho, We still have to come to the Protect category from our site in the Feb Sample run. This will be after the Jan Sample run from the Polish category.
